Kassel goes documenta! As one of the main partners of documenta fifteen, we are delighted to be able to follow this prominent exhibition series and provide you with regular updates on the highlights. As a taste of what’s to come, we’re introducing this year’s artistic directors – the artist collective ruangrupa from Jakarta – and their special qualities – in our film. Ruangrupa has based their curation of documenta fifteen on the values and ideas of lumbung (an Indonesian term for a collective rice barn). As a tangible practice, lumbung is the starting point of this year’s documenta.
