Should Anime Keep Honorifics in the Subtitles?

You spend some time as an anime fan and you're bound to pick up a couple of Japanese words here and there. Sometimes it's because the subtitler just left them in. Some of the most common are honorifics: -chan, -kun, -sama etc. In this video I discuss the pros and cons of various ways to deal with honorifics in translations of anime, and like usual, arrive at a middling conclusion. All according to keikaku. This video kind of expanded out a little too much, it was meant to be a quick thing to test out my new camera, which has a very fiddly auto-focus mode. As such some parts the focus isn't...great, and I tried to edit around the worst of it, but I've made peace that it will just be a bit of a scuffed video. Also I had the worst time trying to title this video.
