Almost fifteen years ago I was stumbling through my time at a now-defunct private art school in Memphis, TN. Around that same time, I started playing guitar and fell deep for instrumental music. Most other things were just the obstacles preventing me from spending all day and night with a guitar in my hands exploring mystical frontiers of the Windham Hills, Narada, Solid Air and Candyrats of the world . . . Dont recall how it happened, but I ended up in email communications with a wonderfully kind and gracious mutual admirer of this music. I found out Robin (not sure of gender) was also an illustrator and had released a delightful children's book called "Regular Lu". It was about a mouse with fairly lofty expectations of himself. We exchanged a few emails, mostly concerning the greatness of Phil Keaggy and Pierre Bensusan. In our last exchange, Robin told me a package was in the mail that had a copy of "Regular Lu" as well as two of Phil Keaggy's sheet music collections - "Acoustic Sketches" and the now-impossible to find "Acoustic Solos" which included a (very different...) transcription of this tune.
