One of my 'Body-Love Treats'; 'The Signature' Smoothie! And it certainly is a treat, satisfying any sweet-tooth with all 'guilt-free' ingredients! This smoothie is really filling and this recipe is enough for 2 people/portions, give or take the odd ingredient to your taste/mood, but this is the basis to the best smoothie out there! (IMO) Approx 3 bananas (amount to your taste/blend) (I have found I love the bananas to have been frozen first - see video for best banana freezing tips!) Frozen fruit my faves are cherry & mango - I mix it up with either blueberry or exotic mix Dates (2-3) Peanut butter (tsp) Cacao Powder - (tsp) Meca Powder - (tsp) Hemp Protein Powder - (tsp) (my latest addition to the recipe) 1/2 Avocado (for creamy texture - I don't always add this depending on how much avo I might be having that day) Seeds (The seeds depends on the time of my cycle - this is called 'Seed Cycling'. Days 1-14 would be Flax & Pumpkin to support Estrogen in the Follicular Phase. Days 15-29 would be Sesame & Sunflower to support Progesterone in the Luteal Phase). Water to preferred consistency (I prefer Spring, Filtered, Bottled in that order and I avoid tap water if I can - I can smell the chlorine in it! There are also charcoal blocks you can get to help filter the water which I mainly use at home, the water is also left for some time in them so at least some of the chemicals in the tap water will evaporate!) (As mentioned in the video I did stock up on some Glastonbury Spring water from my last visit and have some of this precious water left to make The Perfect Signature Smoothie! If you get chance to go to this magical place the Spring on the left has more iron in it - which you can taste - advised not too much at once but this is great to add this once in a while for extra minerals!)
