Hello :) This is the requested transcription I've done of the Faces song "Stay With Me" from their 1971 album "A Nod Is As Good As a Wink... to a Blind Horse." The bass player on this track was Ronnie Lane. You can find this transcription at Muzento when you sign up with an Advanced Lesson Plan. This is another one of those songs where I've heard it before, but hadn't really listened to before. Wow, what a groove! I've transcribed some Ronnie Lane bass lines before, but I have a whole new level of respect and appreciation for him after working on this one. Wow...what a cool bass line he came up with :) I found I had to lay back and pay attention to articulations in order to match the recording. There are lots of little variations he puts in, and I'm sure it was a little different every time he played it. Ronnie Lane is another candidate for under appreciated bass players! I hope you enjoy this one as much as I did. :) Don't forget to "like" and "subscribe" and thanks for watching. -------------- If you appreciate what I do and or find it helpful, I hope you might consider supporting me through the following: GregsTranscripts - https://www.gregstranscripts.com/ Muzento - https://www.muzento.com Patreon - / gregfairweather or you can make a donation through PayPal at - http://bit.do/Much-appreciated ------------------- Copyright Disclaimer: Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for fair use for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research.
