NRHS 2025 Convention Day 1 & 2 Excursions

The National Railway Historical Society (NRHS) held their 2025 annual convention in East Lansing, MI at the Graduate Hilton which is located across the street from the Michigan State University campus. The program had several excursions. I was there for two of the "train trip" excursions. Sunday July 13th had a trip on the Steam Railroading Institutes line from Clare to Owasso. Their most famous steam locomotive is Pere Marquette 1225, which is undergoing its' mandatory 1472 day inspection. July 14th was on the tracks of Indiana Rail Experience from Coldwater to Montgomery, which is close to the Indiana border. This trip utilized Little River Railroad #110 and Nickel Plate #765 as steam motive power. I captured many of the runbys and put them together here. Thanks for watching and i hope that you enjoy.
