In this video we visit the 1900s Pit Village, 1900s Colliery, Engine Shed, Pit, Rowley Station and St Helen’s Church at 1820s Landscape. Tiny Tim welcomes everyone at the entrance to Beamish Living Museum in Stanley, with Cafe Coffee Shop and Gift Shop. Beamish Museum opened in 1970, thousands of people visit daily and it is still building fabulous new sites for us to explore. It is an amazing place to visit, and your tickets are valid for 1 Year from the date of purchase. Period Trams and Buses run in a continuous loop around the site, so jump on one of these amazing cool vehicles, they are free to ride. Beamish Staff are dressed in Period Costume of the day and they tell you wonderful stories about the area they work in. We also met fellow YouTubers Paul, Sharon and their Dog Bow, as we walked around. Their YT Channel is called Pashonexploring It was lovely chatting to Paul and Sharon outside the School. We had a fabulous sunny two days looking around Beamish Living Museum. It brings history to life. We saw almost everything at Beamish, so we will definitely be back for another visit before our tickets run out next year.
