How Do Iranians View the War? WAPOR WANA Webinar on March 3, 2026 As tensions escalate and regional actors become increasingly involved, the region is facing growing security, economic, and political pressures. From reported strikes across Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Manama, and Dubai to disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz, energy markets, airspace, and internal stability concerns, the effects are no longer confined within Iran’s borders. This session will provide a neutral, analytical discussion of how the conflict is reshaping regional dynamics and the potential short- and medium-term consequences. In addition, we will present recent survey data collected by IIACSS Group across the region, offering empirical insights into public opinion and perceptions. The webinar featured Dr. Seyed Emamian, joining us from inside Iran. He holds a PhD in Public Policy and Governance from the University of Edinburgh and is currently an Assistant Professor of Public Policy and Governance at Tehran Polytechnic University. He is also Co-Founder of the Governance and Policy Think Tank (GPTT), affiliated with Sharif University of Technology. Dr. Emamian has extensive experience advising Iranian public institutions and has held senior positions within key regulatory and strategic bodies. He is a regular contributor to regional and international media and policy forums.
