William Tisaby is an ex-FBI agent who worked as a private investigator sometimes. In 2018 he was hired by St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner to investigate former Missouri Governor Greitens about the invasion of privacy charges he faced. His testimony contained multiple contradictions about the due diligence he performed while investigating certain people involved in the governor's scandal. He was then charged with perjury. Since then, CA Gardner's office has been the subject of multiple scandals, including a more than 160% turnover rate, overworked staff, and prosecutors resigning to avoid committing malpractice. Over the past three years, no less than four charges brought by the CAO were necessarily dropped either due to prosecutors' failure to arrive in court, or general malpractice. Among those four dropped charges were two murder cases and one car bombing. The CAO did not convey to the victims’ families that the defendants had been released, which violates state law. Judge Michael Noble held her in contempt of court, along with an assistant circuit attorney who has since resigned. Given this dereliction of duty, it's really unbelievable how she still holds onto the majority support of St. Louis, and refuses to resign from office.
