In this first episode of the series, I move in a bandsaw, table saw, and dust extractor, then make two sets of benches and cabinets out of melamine and acacia wood, with an oiled benchtop finish- setting up the workshop so I can start to do some work in there. This video series takes us from an empty workshop, to a fully operational small shop luthiery operation over the course of 3 months. I'll show you the jigs and templates I use, how to make your own, with downloadable CNC files, cut lists, and blueprints for each project.
