IR, RS232, and IP. In this video we take a real simple overview of all three, discuss the importance of 2-way feedback, and why we prefer RS232 and IP for TV and Video Control. What's important to understand, is that even if you don't have Video Distribution, you can still control all your TVs inside of a Smart Home. but the method of control you use will largely determine the user experience. Now admittedly this is a really basic explanation. It's not technical at all. But I found a couple videos that do a really good job of explaining the tech if you're interested.
