Hello! This will most likely be the final video before the Leadville 100! In today’s video, I spend back-to-back days training on the Leadville course. This is mostly uncut and a lot of raw footage, so I apologize if it's a little rough around the edges. Day 1: I had a 25-mile run on the calendar, and I planned on running from Twin Lakes to Mayqueen. I ended up getting a little turned around and ran 26 miles by the end. Day 2: To follow up the first day, I wanted to run over Hope Pass twice. This meant going (almost) all the way to Winfield and then turning back around. This was a 20-mile day, which, when added to the prior days totals, put me at 46 miles and (just under) 10,000ft of gain. This was a great training stimulus, and I gained a lot of physical and mental strength that will come in handy on race day!
