How To Spend A Day In Medina, NY

I visited Medina, NY for the first time and let me tell you, I fell in love with the little town. I went with two goals: to visit the Shirt Factory Cafe and stay overnight at the Hart House Hotel. As soon as I got to Medina, I took a walk down Main Street. I popped into a few of the businesses: Ellen J Goods and Herbalty Cottage, which were fantastic! The passion that each of the local business owners has is just electric. I could've stayed in these shops to chat with the owners for hours. After walking around Main Street, I went to the Shirt Factory and got to meet Scott, one of the owners of the cafe. Scott is basically the unofficial mayor of Medina and shared a ton of neat history about the town and the building. We had dinner at Mariachi De Oro and ended our night with some delicious cocktails that Scott made at The Shirt Factory. If you're looking for a fun day (or night stay!) to get out of Buffalo for a little bit, I can't recommend Medina enough!
