At the White House Correspondents' Dinner 2017, Hasan Minhaj (Senior Correspondent on The Daily Show) roasted the mainstream media, especially Fox News, MSNBC and CNN. Using humor, he explaned why most of people distrust the media. At the end of his speech, he admited that he has chosen to say how he fell about the media while preparing for that dinner. The White House Correspondents' Association is an organization of journalists who cover the White House and the President of the United States. The WHCA's annual dinner, begun in 1921, has become a Washington, D.C. tradition and is traditionally attended by the president of the United States of America. In 2017, the president Donald Trump didn't show up.
