French street artist JR, known for giant photographs of faces in urban centers, has taken the art world by storm. "Chronicles," his first major exhibition in the U.S., opened late last year at the Brooklyn Museum in New York City and featured two decades of his work, including photography, street art and social engagement. Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, JR has been busier than ever; he started an online art and cinema school, has been feeding his fellow Parisians through his work with a community kitchen in Paris, and designed the cover of the TIME 100 issue this past April. He tells Hari Sreenivasan how he is finding inspiration in the time of the pandemic. Originally aired on May 26, 2020. ....................................................................................................................................................................
