I have been working on a team for GB15 for a while now. After some extensive testing, I came to the conclusion that sap was the fastest way to take down the boss. I found that two D Yuki’s was enough to take down the boss in two turns without activating his slower active attack that drags the fight out further. Unfortunately, due to his high resist, resist down was needed to make sure those saps actually landed. L Griffin seemed to be a strong candidate for this role because of his ability to generate his own SP with his passive skill and also how quickly his active skill landed due to the speed of the skill’s animation. For the 4th member of the team, I wanted someone who could help the team generate SP. F Draka seemed to be the ideal candidate, because her passive skill helped the team generate SP and her active skill is also able to clear the first few waves of astromons in one shot. However, choosing F Draka as the fourth team member resulted in L Griffin having to tank all of the incoming damage every wave, due to the way the AI selects targets to exploit elemental weakness. Because of this, I had tried using L Cupid so that he could help tank the damage alongside L Griffin. While that was stable, it was slow due to the fact that this comp relied on sap to clear each wave. But then today I super ascended L Griffin and RNG granted him unwavering resolve, which grants him a 40% chance every time he is hit to heal 20% of his HP. I was actually hoping for something like weaken or even shield break for this guy because I use him as a leader in Champions and during special season arena. But after thinking about it, I realized his new super ascension skill unlocked the possibility of using him for GB15 as the only L Astromon. After some testing, I’ve achieved a new best time for GB15 auto run: 1:14. Of course, that is with optimal RNG, especially with how SP orbs are distributed after each wave, so most runs are somehwere in the 1:30-2:00 zone. Here is a clip of the team running it in 1:17.
