Rokuhan Shorty Christmas | Z Scale Model Train Christmas Layout

I wanted to build a small Z scale train layout that would be fun for anyone to build during the Christmas season, and to keep up and running thorough out the winter months. This is a simple little weekend project, including the time it takes for the adhesives to dry. Rob Kluz from Ztrack Center (http://www.ztrackcenter.com) supplied us with the the Rokuhan Shorty locomotive and track, as well as a pair of Rokuhan buildings and battery controller. I wanted this to be a fun quick project that would look great and be simple to put together to enjoy during the holidays. Fun Christmas layouts can be as simple as a little loco making it's way around an oval of track. Add some scenery bits and a little time and create your own Christmas layout! They usually come packaged with resistors but you won't need them when using the 3VDC coin cell battery.
