https://www.mindfulwingchun.online The fundamental structures of Chisau (Tan , Fook and Bong Sau) are universal across all Wing Chun methods. The way these structures are used vary greatly. In Grandmaster Chu Shong Tin's method, the idea is that all of these structures are actually the same, in that the focus is on the interconnection of the arm with the body, so that mass is able to be mobilized through them. In this way, Tan sau becomes the same as Fook Sau, and regardless of whether the opponent's force is applied from the top, bottom or side on to the structure will not matter. This 'internal' method of looking at the movements of Wing Chun is studied and practiced first in the Siu Nim Tao form and from there is applied to all the other forms, techniques, and Chisau. Is this how you look at practicing Chisau? Check out this detailed video on Chi Sau from a seminar of Grandmaster Chu Shong Tin at Mindful Wing Chun in Hong Kong: • Wing Chun's CHISAU - Chu Shong Tin
