After the long and glorious reign of King Anomatan (the first king of Narayana's lineage), which lasted for ten thousand years over the city of Ayodhya, his mortal life at last came to an end. Thus began a grand transition of power! The royal throne and the sacred White Parasol of Kingship passed to his wise and mighty son, King Ajapala, heir to the great Hariraksa Dynasty of Ayodhya. But the new king's reign would not begin in peace! Shortly after King Ajapala ascended the throne, a celestial menace emerged. The demon Asurabrahma (also known as Asuraphak), born on the Cosmic Mount, had performed a great penance and was granted a boon by Isvara, along with the mighty Diamond Mace. The boon granted him supreme power, making him unbeatable in all three worlds! Consumed by arrogance, he used the Diamond Mace to terrorize the heavens, striking down gods and deities and sending them fleeing in panic. The stage was set for a cosmic showdown! The great Brahma, Maliwak, witnessed the turmoil and feared that not even King Ajapala could withstand such power. He rushed to Mount Kailash for an audience with Isvara to plead for a sacred weapon. The benevolent Isvara, suddenly remembering the long-neglected lineage of Chakrakrit (Narayana), decreed that a divine sword, the Phra Khan, be bestowed upon King Ajapala, along with a blessing that would grant him victory over Asurabrahma's Diamond Mace. The Action Begins! Upon receiving the sacred sword and the blessing of victory, King Ajapala acted at once! He commanded that his Jeweled Victory Chariot be prepared, hitched to ten pairs of valiant Sindhava horses. Adorning himself in magnificent royal battle attire, he then drove the chariot into the sky, soaring towards the battlefield at the foot of Mount Meru. The Confrontation! Asuraphak, seeing the jeweled chariot approach, let out a thunderous roar, arrogantly demanding to know who dared to challenge him. King Ajapala did not hesitate, fiercely proclaiming his identity and purpose: “So, you are the one called Asuraphak... You are but a wild beast, while I am the King of Lions! I am Ajapala, Lord of Ayodhya, and I have come to be your doom!” The demon, enraged like the fires of apocalypse, swung his glittering Diamond Mace, intending to shatter the king's chariot. But King Ajapala, wielding the sacred sword, met the blow with his own diamond blade, striking the Diamond Mace and instantly shattering it in two! With his indestructible weapon destroyed, Asuraphak could no longer stand against the might of the Chakri lineage. King Ajapala pressed his attack, and with his divine power, he struck the demon down. The celestial host erupted in cheers, celebrating this great victory for the House of Hariraksa. The Price of Defeat After the battle, King Ajapala severed the demon's head, placed it in the back of his chariot, and returned to Ayodhya. Upon arriving in the city, he had the head impaled and placed a curse upon it, commanding it to serve as the eternal guardian of the royal garden. King Ajapala ruled Ayodhya alongside his queen consort, the celestial nymph Lady Thep Apsorn.
