In today’s video, you’ll see how we explored the beautiful lakes of Naltar Valley — Satrangi Lake, Blue Lake, and Sheesha Lake. We reached Naltar around noon and began by visiting Naltar Bazaar, where a Pakistan Air Force post is also located. After a short chat with the locals, we left our extra luggage at the hotel and continued our ride with just our bikes, tank bags, and cameras. On the way, we passed through dense forests, small glacier streams, and breathtaking mountain views. The first lake that welcomed us was Satrangi Lake, glowing beautifully with shades of green despite the cloudy weather. We also met a biological research team from Hunza, collecting peatland samples for carbon analysis. After spending some time filming at Satrangi Lake, we continued towards Blue Lake, about 1.5 km ahead. The trail was rocky but manageable. Blue Lake was stunning — we captured amazing drone shots — but sadly, deforestation and scattered trash around the lake were disappointing to see. By that time, it was almost 5 PM. We had planned to visit Feroza Lake and Halima Garden, but since it would take more than an hour for a round trip, we decided to skip it and save it for our next adventure when we come back for camping. We returned to Naltar, where our friend Shahid Bhai was waiting for us (since we had the room key!). After settling in, we ordered some food — Aloo Bhujia with roti — which cost us around Rs.1500 in total. Our room rent was Rs.2500 per night.
