First of all, current edition fits onto any crib rail, even the widest ones. And I love the remote control idea. But I'll be returning this mobile to Amazon due to the following reasons: The motor is extremely noisy, it's louder than the music the toy plays. I thought it was a defect, but I see other buyers complaining about that as well. Re-assembly didn't help, I even made a video to demonstrate how noisy it is (not sure how to upload here though, search Tiny Love Sweet Island Noisy Mobile on utube). Wish I knew about this "feature" in advance, it would have saved me time on assemblig, testing, disassembling and posting back. Overall build quality is OK (looks like hard to break, which is good for a toy), but I can't see why it costs $45 or so. For that price I expect it to project some stars or to have a proper MP3 player built in, not some mediocre trimmed classics with low-fi sounds of nature. There's very little to design (just normal Chinese-made toys, not cute, appealing or innovative in terms of physics as they describe), and utterly basic remote control (great idea though). Reasonable price would be $19 at most. All mobiles seem to be overpriced though, it's hard to understand why... at least go for something more special with hand-made feeling, like Living Textiles.
