"To save Russia, we must burn Moscow." –Field Marshal Mikhail Kutuzov Hello, and welcome. The song used in this video is a Yugoslav/Serbian military march. I am fully aware that this piece does not originate from the Napoleonic Wars period, as it was instead used during World War I and World War II. I understand the historical difference, so please keep that in mind. The march comes from the Balkans and reflects the strong military traditions of Serbia and later Yugoslavia, where music played an important role in boosting morale, unity, and national identity among soldiers. These types of marches were commonly performed by military bands during mobilizations, parades, and wartime movements, making them closely associated with disciplined infantry formations and battlefield spirit. A friend of mine on Discord suggested that I use this song for the video, and I decided to go along with it. While it is not historically accurate to the Napoleonic Wars, I believe the march fits very well with the atmosphere of Russian troops. The strong rhythm, heavy brass, and steady tempo match the feeling of soldiers marching in formation, which is why it works so well for this video. Because of that, I felt it was a good stylistic choice, even if it is from a later historical period.
