International Internship with Humanitas Afrika

CZ níže ⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇ In 2023, Humanitas Afrika had the pleasure of hosting its first international internship opportunity for a student from outside the Czech Republic and Europe. Ms. Judith Faz, a Political Science and Human Rights student from Southern Methodist University in Texas, and a first-generation American of Mexican descent, joined us for her internship from May 29 to July 20, 2023. During her time at Humanitas Afrika, Ms. Faz took on a variety of responsibilities, including human and public relations, event organization, cultural diplomacy, and report writing. A significant highlight of her internship was the chance to work externally with the Nigerian Embassy in Prague. We extend our gratitude to H.E. Kevin Peter, Nigerian Ambassador to the Czech Republic, for granting Ms. Faz this unique opportunity. Additionally, Ms. Faz was warmly welcomed by H.E. Leonora Rueda, Mexican Ambassador to the Czech Republic. At the conclusion of her internship, we organized a special farewell celebration for Ms. Faz at Delicia, a Brazilian restaurant in Prague. Notable attendees included H.E. Kevin Peter, former Nigerian Ambassador to the Czech Republic; H.E. Yosra Souiden, Tunisian Ambassador to the Czech Republic; and H.E. James Nyasembi, former Ghanaian Ambassador to the Czech Republic. We were also joined by Pastor Yomi Akinyemi of the Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries in Prague, and Imam Kashif Janjua of the Ahmadiyya Mission in the Czech Republic. Our heartfelt thanks go to H.E. Studentka politologie a lidských práv ze Southern Methodist University v Texasu, Judith Faz, Američanka první generace mexického původu, absolvovala svou stáž od 29. května do 20. července 2023. Během svého působení převzala několik úkolů a odpovědností, včetně lidských vztahů a vztahů s veřejností, organizace akcí, kulturní diplomacie a psaní zpráv. Významným vrcholem její stáže byla možnost externí spolupráce s nigerijským velvyslanectvím v Praze. Srdečně děkujeme Jeho Excelenci Kevinu Peterovi, nigerijskému velvyslanci v České republice, za poskytnutí této jedinečné příležitosti studentce Faz, kterou taky navíc vřele přivítala i Její Excelence Leonora Rueda, mexická velvyslankyně v ČR. V závěru její stáže jsme pro stážistku Judith Faz uspořádali speciální rozlučkovou oslavu v brazilské restauraci Delicia Brazil v Praze. Mezi významné účastníky patřili Jeho Excelence Kevin Peter, bývalý nigerijský velvyslanec v ČR; Její Excelence Yosra Souiden, tuniská velvyslankyně v ČR; a Jeho Excelence James Nyasembi, bývalý ghanský velvyslanec v České republice. Připojil se k nám také pastor Yomi Akinyemi z Hory ohně a zázraků, z.s. v Praze a imám Kashif Janjua z muslimského spolku Ahmadíja v České republice. Naše srdečné poděkování patří nigerijské ambasádě v Praze, bývalému velvyslanci Kevinovi Peterovi a jeho bývalé asistence Andree Morávkové, bratrovi Jamba Mulimbwe, z brazilské restaurace Delicia a celému týmu Humanitas Afrika za jejich participaci, aby se tato stáž pro Judith Faz stala nezapomenutelnou.
