🌿 Quan Âm Pagoda (Chùa Ngọc Thạch Quan Thế Âm) is one of the most peaceful and colorful temple complexes in Da Nang. 🌿 Dedicated to Quan Âm — the Bodhisattva of Compassion, this pagoda is known for its red bridges, lantern-filled pathways, lush gardens, and festive New Year decorations. It is a place where tradition, serenity, and community come together. 🌿 The pagoda carries several traditional names — Long Hoa Pagoda, Ngoc Thach Pagoda, and Quan Âm Pagoda — all referring to the same spiritual complex at the base of Tho Son Mountain, one of the Marble Mountains. 🌿 For local families, this temple is a living part of daily culture: a place to pray, honor ancestors, give thanks, and share meals during ceremonies. During our visit, something happened that I will never forget: we were invited by the local Buddhists to join their table and share a meal prepared for the temple gathering. 🌿 It was warm, sincere, and deeply touching — a reminder that the heart of Vietnam is not only in its landscapes, but in its kindness and quiet generosity. 🌿 In this video, you will see the peaceful temple grounds, the red lantern alley, the gardens and bridges, the architecture of the pagoda… and a small glimpse of a family-style Buddhist meal — a moment of hospitality that stayed with me forever. 🌿 Thank you for watching, and I hope this gentle walk through Quan Âm Pagoda brings you the same sense of calm and gratitude it brought to me. 🌿🕯️ 00:00 – Pagoda in the Morning Mist 00:48 – Tree with Maroon “Pepper-like” Flower Spikes (Acalypha hispida) 01:01 – Peach-Colored Pagoda Tower 02:37 – Red Prayer Ribbons 03:16 – White Lotus Flower 04:01 – Red Temple Guardian Statue 04:18 – “Mừng Hoàng Lang” New Year Decoration 04:30 – Mini Red Peppers in Pots 05:58 – Red Bridge and Garden Pavilion 06:25 – Orchids in Bloom 07:00 – Wooden Temple Drum (Mõ) 07:30 – Orange “Arrow” Flowers (Canna Lily) 08:07 – Mango Tree 08:24 – Yellow Chua Kang Pagoda 08:33 – Tree Decorated with Red Ribbons 09:01 – Red Bottlebrush Tree (Callistemon) 09:22 – Koi Fish Pond 09:58 – Brown Pagoda on the Mountain (Thọ Sơn View) 12:15 – “Vạn Tông Sư” Direction Signs 12:22 – Large Buddha in the Cave 12:40 – Gray Pagoda of the Water Cave (Thủy Sơn – Marble Mountains) 13:36 – Shared Buddhist Family Meal 14:40 – White Peace Lily Flowers 15:27 – Red Bridge (Lower Garden) 16:00 – Closing Walk & Ending 00:00 – Пагода в утреннем тумане 00:48 – Дерево с бордовыми вытянутыми соцветиями (Acalypha hispida) 01:01 – Персиковая пагода крупным планом 02:37 – Красные ленточки желаний 03:16 – Белый лотос 04:01 – Красный храмовый страж 04:18 – Надпись “Mừng Hoàng Lang” 04:30 – Мини-перчики в горшках 05:58 – Красный мостик и домик-павильон 06:25 – Орхидеи 07:00 – Деревянный храмовый барабан (mõ) 07:30 – Оранжевые «стрелы» цветов (канна) 08:07 – Манговое дерево 08:24 – Жёлтая пагода Chua Kang 08:33 – Дерево с красными ленточками 09:01 – Красное «пушистое» дерево (кисточка, каллистемон) 09:22 – Пруд с рыбками кои 09:58 – Коричневая пагода на горе 12:15 – Указатели “Vạn Tông Sư” 12:22 – Большой Будда в пещере 12:40 – Серая пагода водной пещеры (Водная гора – Thủy Sơn) 13:36 – Буддийский семейный обед 14:40 – Белые цветы (спатифиллум) 15:27 – Красный мостик в саду 16:00 – Финальная прогулка и концовка Facts & History 🌿 The temple has three names: Chùa Long Hoa, Ngoc Thach Pagoda, and Quan Âm Pagoda — all are correct. 🌿 It is dedicated to Quan Âm, the symbol of compassion in Vietnamese Buddhism. 🌿 The complex features ponds, gardens, red bridges, and open pavilions. 🌿 During Tết, the pagoda is decorated with red lanterns and banners wishing prosperity. 🌿 Families visit to pray, prepare offerings, and share ceremonial meals. 🌿 The kind invitation we received reflects the strong Buddhist tradition of hospitality and community. #Vietnam #DaNang #Pagoda #QuanAm #TempleLife #VietnamCulture #Buddhism #VietnamTravel #RedLanterns. #MarbleMountains #AsianCulture #LocalExperience #VietnamDailyLife #FoodCulture #TravelVietnam Welcome to Art of Nature by Alexandra, a channel where nature and art come together in perfect harmony to create a symphony of inspiration. 🌿 Let’s create a shared space where every viewer becomes part of a collective effort to appreciate, respect, and care for nature.
