Traveling to Dubai with my mom sounded simple… until it wasn’t. In this vlog, I’m taking you along our journey from Dallas to Dubai, including a layover in Istanbul, checking into the Sheraton Grand Dubai, shopping the Gold Souk, trying on gold jewelry and abayas, creating our own custom fragrances, and enjoying dinner at Huqqa in the Dubai Mall. What started as a smooth travel day quickly turned into chaos. From a passport scare to unexpected delays, this trip tested us in real time.
