This talk is presented by Susan Woolford, MD, an associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Michigan Medical School and an associate professor of health behavior and health equity at the School of Public Health. In this session, Dr. Woolford discussed her research that harnesses just-in-time interventions—timely, personalized support delivered via mobile technology—to empower adolescents to make healthier food choices in real-world settings. This talk explored innovative strategies that leverage technology to prompt positive behavior change at key decision moments, highlighting promising approaches to combat poor nutrition and reduce obesity among youth.
