We frequently get requests to revise scars, particularly when they are a result of trauma or injury. Patients tell us they are willing to accept surgical scars over their current ones, because those are all to often reminders of previous traumatic events. ⁣ ⁣ We are humbled by this our patient who found us on social media , then traveled all the way from Southern California to be seen in our office. He had childhood scars on the left side of his face which resulted in firm, adherent skin that affected how his facial skin moved. He requested revision of the scars. He now has new scars, but softer skin, and hopefully more mobile skin. ⁣ ⁣
