KRTV interview footage with Ted Sorensen, former JFK aide, and Cecil Stoughton, former JFK White House photographer speak to the mood of the White House during Cuban Missile Crisis. Sorensen discusses his thoughts on the crisis, questions he would ask Castro, the threat of war, Kennedy’s response, and discussions after the crisis with the Soviets. Stoughton speaks about photographs taken during the crisis; topics include the signing of JFK’s proclamation, the Executive Committee meeting, press release on the situation, as well as both John F. and Robert Kennedy.
