A complete guide to my favourite three fungi to forage for in February. Learn about each mushrooms identification features, the habitat and trees upon which they grow, how to harvest them, how to prepare them for food and natural medicine - and most importantly, how to tell them apart from any lookalikes! I live in the north of England but these mushrooms can be found across the UK, Europe and North America too. Please remember to never eat any wild food, be it plant, fruit or fungi, unless you are 100% certain of its identity and always cross check your resources. Always do research before taking herbs internally, especially if you are pregnant, have severe allergies or a weakened immune system.
