Getting trophies on this game is pretty straightforward; about 20 or 30 percent of the trophies start each level, fight bosses, completes specific tasks, and collect all life bottles and chalices. You are pretty much backtracking each level to get a specific item and keys to progress throughout your playthrough. REMINDER I'm not including trophies from "Don't Dillydally or Lollygag to Final Showdown," those trophies are pretty much starting the level.
