This is an evaluation of the cowl drainage patterns in a Fisker Ocean. It turns out the stock cowl drainage holes are placed too far laterally and result in water draining to the outside of the normal drainage holes in the body. This results in water going to front bumpers and charge port. By relocating these drain holes inward, the water now drains through the planned drain hole in body with no leakage laterally in mild to moderate water exposure cases. In severe water exposure, there is some generalized overflow that can still occur. I drill a small enlarging hole in center of each outer drain slot by hand with a 7mm drill bit. A 10 mm wide flange silicone plug is placed in existing hole with RTV silicone sealer. Approximately 1 1/2" inward from the old hole, a new slot is created by drilling multiple 3mm holes and connecting them together with a knife and file. Video afterwards shows marked improvement in water drainage in all but the most extreme conditions. The silicone plug is: ONLYKXY 10 Pcs 10MM Diameter Silicone Round Snap in Type Locking Furniture Hole Plugs Button and can be found at: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09MPZP4JN?ref=p... I used Permatex Ultra Black RTV gasket maker for sealant.
