TacMed Chapter I Official Film (April 12-14) 14 participants earned their Stop The Bleed Certification, First Aid Certification and Medco Training International Ready Response Certification in the first TacMed training course in April. The purpose of this class is to give people the skills to respond and be an asset during times of crisis, natural disasters, active shooter situations and mass casualty events where lives can be saved while waiting for a higher level of care to arrive while giving them a fun environment where they can also have an experience of the team building aspects of a military environment. This intense course covered medical aid in various tactical environments and gave students the opportunity to participate in a Force on Force exercise where all skills that were taught during the class were tested in real-time. The course also included a rifle safety course, home defense techniques and rural movement for search and rescue purposes. Team building exercise combining medical training and tactical movement into a practical class with exciting paint marker gunfights.
