22,000-acre Flat Fire in central Oregon destroys four homes, 5% contained

The Flat Fire, burning in central Oregon, has destroyed at least four homes and burned nearly 22,000 acres. It's northeast of Sisters, encompassing parts of Jefferson and Deschutes counties. Gov. Tina Kotek invoked the Emergency Conflagration Act to add more resources. FEMA has authorized federal funds to help fight it. KATU interviewed Gert Zoutendijk with the Oregon state fire marshal on Monday afternoon to get the latest on this fire that has put different parts of Sisters under different evacuation levels.
