Camino de Santiago, Del Norte-Part 3

After spending a few extra days in the amazing city of Bilao we decided to skip the Urban sprawl and bus it out to Pobena and then continue along the Del Norte. This particular section of the Way had its up and downs, including the hill climbs but beautiful coastal cliff walking and unfortunately road walking. The beautiful local villages of Muskiz, Onton and Miono were a delight on our way to our stop for the night at Castro Urdiales and what a spectacular seaside town it is. Stepped in history and beauty and we were fortunate to have a late start the next morning enabling us to explore. Leaving Castro we had a shorter hike to the small village of Rioseco where we are able to rest up for the big push to our end point of this Camino in Santander before heading inland to the Original of all Camino's .... "The Primitivo"
