Roger Daltrey burst on the scene in the early 1960s as the frontman for The Who, one of the pioneering bands that led rock's British invasion of the U.S. Along with guitarist Pete Townshend, bassist John Entwistle, and drummer Keith Moon, Daltrey and The Who became one of rock's biggest and most influential acts, selling 100 million records, producing two full-length rock operas and performing a historic sunrise set at Woodstock.
