"Pharaoh Tutankhamun" by Black Cat Blues-Premium Hand Made Art Soap

This is the first in a series of soaps based on extraordinary museum exhibits. I was fortunate to see King Tut at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City in the late 1970's. Such beautiful things. Such amazing work and technical ability without the use of power tools. This work in Art Soap was about capturing the feeling / impression of the exhibit. The colors used in the bar mirror the colors of the sand and stone in the Valley of the Kings and the colors of the gems and gold of The Pharaoh's death mask. This was to say the least, a challenging piece to create. Fragrance oil: Prince Showers (a dupe of Lush's Sultana). It is a beautiful fragrance. However it accelerates and discolors to yellow. I never test fragrances prior to using them. I just work with whatever happens. It keeps things interesting. As always these videos are intended to inspire.
