HIKING the SOUTH RIM | Black Bears in the Chisos | Big Bend National Park

On October 26, 2020 we set out to Hike the Pinnacles Trail up to the South Rim for an overnight at the Southwest 4 campsite and returning via the Laguna Meadows Trail the next day. After about a half mile on the trail we came across our first bear sighting. We ended up seeing 5 bears total on this trip...truly a memorable experience in Big Bend. We woke up the next morning to a cold front that blew in overnight and it brought some very interesting weather for our hike out. Don't Forget to check out Cameron's channel here.
