The album builds upon the foundation laid by Future Angels, with a focus on creating immersive tracks that blend emotion and technical mastery. This release also saw a deeper integration of storytelling into Phantasia’s work, supported by Akira Matsuda’s artistic contributions. The album cover was inspired by a photograph of Keiko Arai taken during a studio session, where she fell asleep on the sofa after hours of rehearsing. Matsuda reimagined the moment with his signature visual style, tying the ethereal artwork to the album's dreamlike themes. Fun Fact: The closing track, Crystalline Continuum, was born from an impromptu jam session among the band members. Its progressive structure and extended duration reflect the remarkable synergy and intuitive connection the musicians had developed by this stage in their career.
