The music video is adapted from the long-form drama novel "Raging Tides," told from the perspective of Artoirel. It recounts the story of the Fortemps and Haillenarte families from the time young Haurchefant first entered the Fortemps household, set during the final years of the Sixth Astral Era. -- - Director: SJB Original Novel: https://basementbx.wordpress.com/ --- *This video was created using Anamnesis as a supporting tool, utilizing in-game NPC animations and models. *The full movie does not exist. --- *Summary of Events during the Sixth Astral Era:* The young Haurchefant lived with his mother in a village in Coerthas. After his mother's death, Haurchefant was taken in by his biological father, Count Fortemps, against the will of others. Haurchefant quickly formed a friendship with his half-brother Artoirel, but Lady Fortemps, tormented by her husband’s betrayal, forbade the children from associating with Haurchefant—a decision young Artoirel couldn’t comprehend. As the strained relationship between the couple began to ease due to their eldest son’s maturity, a misunderstanding regarding their son’s identity drove Lady Fortemps to despair. Her health, already weakened, deteriorated further, and she passed away a few years later. As Artoirel grew older, he came to understand the truth about his "new brother," which caused a rift between him and the family. In the year 1563, the capital held a preview tournament, where the young swordsman Zephirin ignited a swordsmanship craze among the youth of the capital. Three years later, Haurchefant risked his life to save his friend Francel, earning a knighthood in the process. This prompted Artoirel to reflect on the life he was born into as the heir. By the end of the Sixth Astral Era, the young Artoirel was appointed commander of the campaign to reclaim Dzemael Darkhold, leading the united forces of the four noble houses. Unbeknownst to him, Haurchefant was also participating in the battle as a cavalryman of House Haillenarte, seeking to understand the character of the future heir he would one day serve as a knight of House Fortemps. After the Seventh Umbral Calamity, Coerthas fell into an eternal winter. The yellow dragon Svara and its dragonkin took advantage of a blizzard to launch an assault on the Steel Vigil, where Haillenarte’s third son, Claudebanne, was stationed. Facing inevitable death, Claudebanne wagered his life in exchange for the survival of his soldiers, standing firm against the dragon’s flames. His eldest brother Stephanivien blamed himself for Claudebanne’s death, believing that his obsession with research had led him to neglect the fort’s resupply.Their younger sister Laniaitte cut her hair, and over time, her actions and demeanor began to resemble those of her fallen brother. Meanwhile, in the far western highlands, Yuhelmeric, the newly appointed captain of House Durendaire’s cavalry—who had once served alongside Artoirel at the Owl's Nest camp—was frozen alongside the Dusk Vigil.
