Courtesy of DZMM TeleRadyo Families of some 500 victims of extrajudicial killings may be presented during the confirmation of charges hearing against ex-president Rodrigo Duterte on Monday. Atty. Ray Paolo Santiago, Philippine Coalition for the ICC Co-chair, said prosecutors are expected to present a summary of key evidence in the crimes against humanity case vs Duterte and may even call on witnesses during the pre-trial. “Ilalatag ang sinasabing crimes against humanity through murder na binabaling kay Duterte,” he said. The defense can also object to the prosecution’s presentation of the crime and even present counter-evidence.
