Amtrak, Conrail, CSX, CSSSB, & NS trains. Locations are Argos, Goshen, Elwood, Hammond. Michigan City, Mishawaka, Millersburg, Portage, Springville, and Wellsboro. Portions of the Amtrak clips are in my various F40PH videos, but this will hopefully provide some additional context to them. You can skip to different sections using the links below. At Hickory Rd. EB NS (NW 8508) with awesome RS5T horn! - September 21, 1986. 11:16 Mishawaka, IN - Main St. - EB GTW (GTW 5817) - this crossing was converted into an underpass about 15 years ago and the location is nearly unrecognizable today - November 14, 1986. 11:46 Wellsboro, IN - WB GTW (GTW 6413 ex-DTI), a clean-sounding M3 horn, EB CSX (CO 7511) - made some setoffs/pickups in the old yard, WB GTW (GTW 6405) - recent repaint, flight of 4 helicopters passes overhead southbound (they look like CH53s to me), WB CSX (CO 7515), EB CSX 230 (CO 4086) at State Road 39. - November 14, 1986. 18:41 Walkerton, IN - WB CSX - December 14, 1986. 20:14 Springville, IN - US 20 - NB CSX (CSX 6803 ex-LN) light power on the ex-PM LaCrosse - New Buffalo Line (Wellsboro Sub) headed for New Buffalo, MI. This is the only train I ever caught on this line, which is completely gone north of Wellsboro. My dad filmed this and that’s me up on the bridge. I snapped 2 photos up there (see below). When you drive on US 20 through here today, it is very difficult to find where the railroad once passed. - December 20, 1986. 20:52 Michigan City, IN - Amtrak Drawbridge - Amtrak 352 (AMTK 381), WB CSS&SB 510 passes over the Amtrak diamond at 10th St. - December 20, 1986. 23:14 Portage, IN (Willow Creek), WB Conrail (CR 6752), they were unable to get ahold of the CSX Akron DS, WB CSX (BO 4208) - December 22, 1986. 26:08 Hammond Depot - Amtrak 353 (AMTK 322) - December 22, 1986.
