Large queues formed outside petrol stations in Tehran amid fears of shortages after Israel struck fuel depots and oil refineries. Iran and Israel exchanged fire for a third day on Sunday in a conflict that began with an unprecedented Israeli attack on Iran's military leaders, bases and nuclear sites on Friday. After Iran retaliated with intense missile strikes on Saturday night, Israel's Defense Minister Israel Katz said that if it continued to do so, "Tehran will burn". This comes as five car bombs exploded across Iran's capital city on Sunday, thought to be targeting top nuclear scientists.
