Here are some tips to help stay on track in March. Here are some important dates to remember for central Kentucky. March 8th: Start seeds outdoors for spinach, mustard, beets, peas, and edible-podded peas. March 15th: Transplant cabbage and kohlrabi plants to the garden. March 15th: Start seeds outdoors for asparagus and rhubarb crowns, beets, carrots, collards, kale, mustard, spinach, peas, edible-podded peas, early potato seed pieces, radishes, turnips, green onions, onion sets, and endive. March 15th: Start seeds indoors for peppers, tomatoes, and eggplant. March 15th: Dig and divide any 4-year-old rhubarb plants. Fertilize asparagus and rhubarb with 1 pound of 5-10-10 per 100 sq ft.
