Built with a cost of Rs 69.47 crore, this will be fourth structure to be completed under Strategic Road Development Programme (SRDP) to ease traffic congestion in the city’s IT corridor. The 990-metre-long flyover will commence from Raidurg Police Station on the Mehdipatnam end and drop near IKEA showroom towards Kukatpally end. The peak-hour traffic at the junction as per 2015 survey was 14,001 Passenger Car Units (PCUs) and it increased to 22,400 PCUs this year and is expected to escalate to 30,678 PCUs by 2035.
