#tipm, #dodgegrandcaravan, #grandcaravan, #minivan Does your 2012 (2011-2016) Dodge Grand Caravan or Chrysler Town and Country with the 3.6 Liter engine start and die immediately? Will the engine on your Grand Caravan or Town & Country not start. What about your 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee or 2014 Dodge Ram truck, 2013 Jeep Wrangler, Volkswagen Routan, is it not starting or will it crank and then die or not crank at all? Are you getting no codes? It is most likely all the same issue. The TIPM most likely has a bad relay for the fuel pump. The Tipm is a fancy term for the fuse and relay box that is under the hood of your car/van/truck/suv/vehicle. Unfortunately, the relay for the fuel pump is a not replaceable as they soldered it to the board so you have to by-pass it. This video will help you troubleshoot your vehicle not starting or starting revving up and dying. Vertical Visions has come up with a solution for not much $$ that will keep you on the road. https://www.verticalvisions.com/ I am not sponsored by vertical Visions but I love their product. They have taken the time to figure out how to save us all a lot of money and not have to replace the TIPM. To replace the TIPM with a new one from the dealership will cost you between $1200-$1500. You can get rebuilt ones for somewhere around $300-450. The fix I will show today works in cold or warm weather. If this doesn't fix it look to a bad fuel pump or clogged fuel filter. Or hit the gas if it does start to feed gas in and let it rev up. It might keep you from getting stranded. This is part of maintaining your daily driver series. Gotta love Mopar!
