Hard to believe it's been two years since I've started doing this; man has the time flown by. A lot has happened and I'm pleased, and shocked, my little series got this far. If you recall, I made the decision to end this series at the 50th video with the Sol vs Ky. However, due to health circumstances that prevented me from doing anything that I used to do mobility wise, I picked continued this hobby (to many peep's surprise) because I would have gone insane doing absolutely nothing. This channel has grown exponentially in the past 2 years than the rest of it's existence and this wouldn't be possible without you all. For that, thank you. Now that the mush is out of the way.. CONGRATULATIONS ON MAKING IT TO 100! Not just ANY 100! NO! 100 original fan made intros for Guilty Gear! I'm pretty proud of myself for that since originally I was gonna stop at 16 (at the time it was the end of season one and everyone in the roster had at least one interaction) then it was 50. 100 will be the LAST for this playlist, but I will continue to do this just as shorts. The numbers don't lie people; 5:1 ratio with shorts killing it for views. Also I've noticed an increase in viewership worldwide. You have no idea how cool it is to see people globally checking out my stuff and sharing. In fact, I was mentioned in a twitter thread regarding Blazblue intros and why publishers don't do them anymore. Low and behold, someone brought up my channel; such a rush that was! Ok ok back to the video. ASUKA VS SOL! The rivalry that stands the tests of time! 20 years in the making. I wanted to do so much with these two, and the ideas kept forming; however it would have been really lengthy. Honestly, with a couple of my ideas, the combat itself lasted a minute and THAT was no intro. So I definitely had to downsize; BUT I DIDN'T DOWNGRADE!! With the change of moves and priorities, I was afraid that things wouldn't work anymore. For example, one of my ideas involved Jack-O popping up and physically stopping them both at the end before round start. It was gonna be heavily edited, but I knew the direction I needed to head towards. HOWEVER, priorities of moves changed, and I, at the time, had THAT real life situation going on which prevented from doing those serious edits. Oh I should state that this sequence was actually completed within a month of Asuka's DEBUT. Yeah I had this COOKING. The absolute LORE between these two could make me pump out a couple or maybe a few more interactions. Since Sol, and Jack-O have different voice lines depending on which Asuka they're talking to -- the doppelganger or the real thing -- the tone itself could also shift and direct me to a new choreography. I'm hoping, sooner than later, season one characters follow the trope of getting new moves because that'll spice up some future videos. The voice lines that are you used had me on a journey. I've ventured as far as Overture to get the goods. Did that all the way to Strive and was blessed by the material I could scavenge. I do wish I actually had the game (preferably hard copy) so I could have muted the bgm during Arias speech in the beginning, but I had to get what I could from online. Moreover, re-living the plot of Guilty Gear and seeing the foreshadows that have yet to come since Overture was a roller coaster of emotions: hype, joy, and sadness (Ramlethal & Bedman scenes *chef's kiss). This marathon further solidifies my desire for Ariels because Junko Minagawa killed that role. But I won't go further into that. At the time, the teaser for the anime dropped, Sin mains eating good, Jack- O has a cameo, Fredrick is living his life, and Ky's wedding is crashed by the new character (I believe it's mentioned in the synopsis.) This almost preludes that a season 5 will come into fruition, but of course that'll be reliant on sales and popularity. So if people like the character, she'll get in. I'll wrap this up, IT IS A BLAST DOING THESE! And I'm TRULY grateful that so many of you enjoy this type of content.
