We proudly introduce “Well Test Analysis and Design” course by Dr. Mahmoud Tantawy. Course Content: Introduction to well testing. Radial flow and log-log type curve analysis. Pressure transient testing for gas wells. Bounded reservoir behavior. Wellbore and near-wellbore phenomena. Well test interpretation and design. Estimation of average drainage area pressure. Hydraulically fractured wells. Horizontal wells and naturally fractured reservoirs. Instructor’s Profile: Dr. Mahmoud Tantawy is a public figure in Reservoir Engineering. He has many professional roles in different communities. Starting from recent, he is a Dean of El-Gazera Institute EGI. Currently, he is a professor at Faculty of Petroleum and Mining Engineering, Suez University from September 2001 till now. Furthermore, he is a former Dean of the Faculty of Petroleum and Mining, Suez University. He also serves as General Manager for METC Training and Consultation Center from 2008 till now. Moreover, he was Head of Petroleum Engineering Department, New Cairo Academy from 2006 to 2009. During this tenure, he also chairs Computer Engineering Department, Misr University as a Head from 2005 to 2006. He enrolled in Post Doctorate Degree in Texas A&M University from 1992 to 1994. Dr. Tantawy also on position of a Post Professor in Al-Shorouk Academy, Faculty of Engineering Misr University for Science and Technology.
