How to Sit in Natural Alignment: The Key to Beginning to Discover Your Authentic Posture My suggestions for using this video: 1. Watch one time through. Take notes as desired & simply listen to the instructions. 2. Watch through again & this time, go through each step in your own body. 3. Play with what sitting in this way feels like for you. 4. Once you feel like you have a place that feels easy to sit, practice with the Presence piece that I talked about. Can you come into the center point of your pelvis? Can you inhabit your entire pelvic bowl? Come into your womb space & simply notice. 5. After you feel like you have a sense of what that feels like in your body, practice with the authentic posture. When your bones are aligned, can your large muscle groups, your external shell simply let go & release? Are you holding onto extra tension in your body? If so, can you let it go? 6. Now, play with experiencing your sensuality. Where is their pleasure in your body? Can you tap into your body's inherent joy? If you are feeling any discomfort while going through this practice, allow that, while still looking for where there is pleasure or space in your body. 7. Now, combining all of the above, what are you aware of? What is your sense of self? Take as long as you need between each step. You could go through it in one setting. You may also like to break it up over the course of several days or even a few weeks. Breaking it up like this will allow you more time to really cultivate each step & fully embody it as opposed to simply conceptualizing the information. This is a huge distinction to take in mind as you go through the practice.
