Billed as a Tesla Model S beater, the e-Tron GT is essentially a Audi-badged Porsche Taycan, adopting the same J1 production platform as the one from Stuttgart. Then, a few weeks' ago, rumours began circulating that Audi was planning to launch an RS version of the car. Fast forward to today and it's been unveiled (sort of). Debuting in pre-production guise, the RS e-Tron GT is the first electric car to be launched under Audi Sport and is set to take the fight to the Taycan Turbo, which is odd given that both brands fall under the Volkswagen umbrella.
