PeterLynchMusic.com Maggie takes some time off from her normal occupation as a pianist to bring some vocal charm to this (note for note) transcription of the solo version of "Perhaps Love" by John Denver. He released it in 1982, a year after the original version, which also featured Placido Domingo. Interestingly, the main chord progression is the same as "Heart And Soul", (ie I-VI-IV-V) that song which is often done-to-death, by (usually) duetting pianists of a certain age and level of competence. The words, too, do not bear too much scrutiny, but this song is nonetheless said to be the favourite of Denver's wife Annie, for whom it was evidently written.
